Score Love was born on a golf course. Founder Julia Rae was randomly paired with a stranger one afternoon. By the back nine, she knew. They fell in love.
She built Score Love because that moment — unscripted, un-swipeable, in-real-life — is the one she wants more people to have. No algorithms. No endless swiping. A round of golf, a leaderboard, and the perfect pace of play.
Love doesn’t happen on an app. It happens on the course.
Real life, first.
We believe the best love stories start where the phones go away. On the course, at the range, on the cart path between holes. Score Love exists to put more people in the rooms — and on the greens — where chemistry can actually find them.
We’re not anti-app. We’re pro-real-life. A live tour, a TV show, a community of golfers who would rather meet someone over eighteen holes than over eighteen swipes.
Founder & CEO, Score Love
Julia Rae is a multi-hyphenate creative based in Santa Monica — actress, singer, writer, golfer, and public speaker. Her credits include ABC’s The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart, a starring role in the Amazon film Playing Through, and reporting at 6ABC Philadelphia.
She is also a marathoner who has run the NYC Marathon for the Boomer Esiason Foundation, a cystic fibrosis advocate, and the founder of Singing at the Top of My Lungs, a nonprofit supporting music therapy and child life programs in children’s hospitals.
She founded Score Love to build the kind of love story that doesn’t fit on a dating app.
